Whilst working with us you will have the opportunity to:
- Work with like-minded individuals, gaining hands on experience and training in both wine and food, whilst strengthening service skills,
- Work with an exciting and ever-changing wine list of over 250+ bottles and a rotating pouring list of 20+ wines.
- WSET and other online courses offered as part of employment.
- A Permanent Part Time or Casual Food & Beverage Attendant Level 3 rate, including all leave, loading and penalty rates.
- Work with a company that values and supports their team and prioritises wellbeing and growth.
Who We are:
Essie is a neighbourhood wine bar with a focus on delivering exceptional food and wine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We have a strong approach to sustainable and ethical approach to both our wine and food menus with our wines focusing on minimal intervention and lo-fi practices. Our food menu changes seasonally and is based on product availability.
We have current positions for causal or part time work looking to start immediately. We are looking an individual who has:
- An understanding of workflow and experience working in a busy, fast paced environment.
- Knowledge and/or interest in wine and enthusiastic to learn more
- A positive attitude
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Flexibility to work different shifts.
