We’re recruiting Casual Street Sweeper Labourers for a high-energy overnight shift during one of Australia’s biggest events.

 

The Role

• Street sweeping and litter collection during and after Mardi Gras
• Cleaning public areas as part of a coordinated team
• Active, outdoor work throughout the night

 

 Event Details

 

• Event: Mardi Gras 2026
• Date: Saturday, 28 February 2026
• Shift: 8:30 pm – finish (usually between 4:00 am – 6:00 am)

 

 What’s On Offer

• $65 per hour
• Casual, stand-alone event shift
• No licence required

 

 What You’ll Need

• Reasonable level of physical fitness
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work overnight
• Required PPE:
  • Long-sleeve clothing
  • High-visibility vest/shirt
  • Safety-capped footwear
