Market Stall Set Up & Pack Down (Weekend Casual)

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and punctual individual to join our team as a Market Stall Set Up & Pack Down Assistant. This is a casual weekend role with flexible hours, ideal for early risers looking to earn extra income while working with a genuinely great team.
About the role
This role involves the early-morning collection, towing, setup, and pack down of our weekend market stalls.
What you’ll be doing:
- Arrive at our Doonan headquarters at 2:30am
- Tow a large market trailer to Yandina Markets on Saturdays and/or Maroochydore Markets on Sundays
- Set up the market stall, including structures, displays, signage, and product placement
- Ensure the stall is visually appealing, organised, and market-ready
- For those with barista experience, there is an option to stay on and work the stall
- Otherwise, finish around 4:30am
- Return at approximately 12:00pm to pack down the stall, tow the trailer back to Doonan, and assist with restocking for the next trading day
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols
What we’re looking for:
- Comfortable and confident towing a large trailer
- Car licence required for towing the large trailer
- Minimum of 1 year towing experience required
- Punctual, dependable, and reliable
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, events, or similar roles is highly regarded
- Barista skills welcome but not essential
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and pride in your work
- Australian work rights required
