Our Venues:
Situated in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, the Building is made up of two states of the art buildings operating under one roof. Within the operation, The Big Group manages all the hospitality for 8,500 employees and across multiple floors of meeting rooms, large event spaces, café outlets and an event centre that caters up to 1000 people. Our meeting room and client floors offer personalised high-touch service for meetings, executive dining, and formal events. Our event space caters for corporate meetings, dinners, conferences, cocktail parties, awards and gala occasions. All areas are activated during business hours with high volumes, with the event space, ILUMINA extended to operate in the evenings and weekends. SHORT OVERVIEW:
We are looking for enthusiastic and professional casual baristas and waitstaff to join our corporate events and boardroom team. In this role, you’ll help deliver exceptional service at high-end events, meetings, and functions, providing a seamless experience for our guests and clients. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a polished, fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering top-quality service with a smile. YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
- Providing outstanding food and beverage service for boardroom meetings, events, and functions.
- Coffee making, grind adjusting, machine setup and cleaning.
- Always Maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.
- Supporting setup, pack-down, and presentation of event spaces.
- Working collaboratively in a high end, fast- paced environment with the events and kitchen. teams to deliver smooth, well-executed service.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Corporate experience highly regarded.
- Current RSA Certificate for NSW.
- Delivering high-level customer service with confidence and professionalism.
- Immaculate presentation and a can-do attitude – We are looking for somebody who has Pizzazz!
- Ability to carry 3 plates.
- For barista roles – knowledge in coffee machine maintenance, grind adjusting & Latte art.
