We are currently seeking a Casual Domestic Services Attendant to join our team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role supporting the presentation, cleanliness and laundry services of the Centre. As a casual team member, you will assist with leave coverage and additional shifts as required across weekdays and occasional weekends.
Your work directly impacts the daily comfort of our residents. Clean rooms, fresh linen and well-presented shared spaces aren’t just tasks — they contribute to dignity, pride and wellbeing in our residents’ home.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms and communal areas
- Managing resident personal laundry and facility linen
- Operating industrial laundry equipment
- Following infection control and safe chemical handling practices
- Restocking supplies and reporting maintenance concerns
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 6 months cleaning and/or laundry experience (aged care highly regarded)
- Understanding of infection control principles
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable, flexible and team-focused approach
- Current Police Check
- Willingness to complete mandatory training
- Valid Australian working rights
