Sunshine Social Cotton Tree is looking for a casual Chef and Kitchen Hand to join the team. 4-5 shifts available. Great opportunity to work in a fun, fast-paced café environment right in the heart of Cotton Tree.
The chef role involves preparing and executing menu items efficiently, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organisation, and ensuring consistent quality and speed during service.
The Kitchen hand role involves managing the wash station, supporting food prep, and assisting the chefs during service
Our menu is built around the best of what’s local and in season — simple, thoughtful food that lets quality produce speak for itself. We’re focused on honest, ingredient-driven dishes that celebrate flavour, sustainability, and community. We are looking for an energetic, customer focussed, and detail-orientated chefs or cooks to join our team. We are open 7 days from 6:00am – 3pm, weekend availability is required. We are a vibrant bunch who like to have fun while we work in a fast-paced environment.

What makes you stand out?
Chefs or cooks:
- 2 years of kitchen experience in similar venues
- Qualifications if you are a chef
- Passion for quality produce

- A positive attitude and approach
- Ability to work in a team environment but also excels in an autonomous role
- Excellent communication and time management
