Position Overview
- Position Title: School Cleaner (Multiple Positions Available)
- Workload FTE: 20hrs/week (0.53FTE) Approx. 3pm – 7pm
- Employment Basis: Permanent Part Time
- Anticipated Start Date: January 2026
Role
Join our dedicated Facilities team to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors. As a School Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our campus
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning of classrooms, offices, and communal areas
- Replenish supplies and follow established cleaning schedules and procedures
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, and fixtures are sanitized and presentable
- Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report maintenance or safety issues promptly
- Support College events and activities with additional cleaning as required
- Work collaboratively with the Facilities team to uphold College standards
Selection Criteria
The successful applicants will have:
- A commitment to the Christian ethos and College values
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning (educational setting preferred)
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Committed to safe work practices and reporting maintenance or safety issues promptly
