An exciting opportunity is available for a Kitchen Hand to join a busy commercial kitchen operation. This role is essential to the preparation and packaging of meals, ensuring all products meet strict quality, safety, and hygiene standards. You will be part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Duties
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in a commercial kitchen
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and in accordance with procedures
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards
- Package and label meals accurately for distribution
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen and work areas
- Support production targets while maintaining quality control
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in food production or a commercial kitchen environment
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding food safety and hygiene
- Effective communication skills and a team-focused approach
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
