About the role

Are you looking for a long term role working for an established Australian manufacturer? Do you want to be a valued part of a close knit team and make a large impact? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team located in the South Eastern suburbs of Sydney. This is a part time role that would suit a student looking to set their hours around their study schedule.

Training will be provided for those skills that are particular to this business’s activities. We are looking for a reliable, detailed oriented, independent & self motivated person to fill this key role. Role hours are flexible, shifts typically start between (6:30am – 10am) and last 8 hours (with a 4 hour minimum).

This position is varied and responsible for everything from manufacture of products to packing orders! This role has the potential to expand as you grow within the company and offers exciting prospects! Excellent role for someone looking to gain a wide depth of experience within a growing manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate machinery safely and effectively to meet the production plan
• Manufacture and filling of coatings and cleaning products
• Local and export order packing and preparation
• Receipting of deliveries
• General organisation and management of factory space
• Any other ad hoc duties

What are we looking for?

• A willingness to learn!
• Customer focused and willing to work as a team
• Capable of performing physical tasks that require lifting, carrying, and occasional positioning of heavy equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 20kg as part of daily duties
• Basic computer skills
• Experience working within a manufacturing or warehouse environment would be highly regarded
• Current drivers licence would be highly regarded
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Strong attention to detail.
