Warehouse Picker Packer – Stores person Part time

• Based at our head office in Northgate
• 3 days per week Monday to Wednesday 22.8 hours

About the Role

We require an additional Warehouse / Stores person to join our team, led by a Warehouse Supervisor. You will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, stocking showroom, packing and shipping orders.

Main Duties:

Incoming Stock

• Unloading delivery vehicles
• Accepting delivery of stock
• Counting and confirming stock
• Inspecting stock for damage or faults
• Communicating errors to relevant parties
• Marking and labeling stock
• Storing stock
• Track incoming shipments

Picking Stock

• Picking stock for outgoing orders or to supply showroom using barcode scanners

Outgoing Stock

• Accept and print orders
• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
• Loading delivery trucks
• Track outgoing orders

Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and safety of work environment

Safely operates tools eg forklift, Stanley knives, trolley

About You

Previous working experience in a warehouse environment

Have a Forklift Operation certificate or is willing to be trained

Have a Cert 111  in Warehousing Operations or is willing to study

Valid Drivers licence

Experienced with Microsoft Office

Experience with inventory software programs would be an advantage

Good organizational and time management skills

Good interpersonal and communication skills
