The Opportunity  

As we head into the busy season we are on the look-out for Section Waiters, who are capable of holding down a section with flair, professionalism and a smile. As a key player within our Front of House team, your attention to detail, friendly demeanour and efficient service will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

We have both casual & part-time positions open, your availability to work December through to March is a distinct advantage.

Your day-to-day:

• Manage a section by greeting guests, taking orders and serving tables in a warm and friendly manner.
• Develop knowledge about dishes and beverages in order to provide detailed recommendations to guests, anticipating their needs and providing the highest level of service.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth service and a positive dining experience.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for your team.

Our successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience as a Section Waiter in a venue of a similar calibre.
• A love of good food, great wine and uncommon ingredients.
• Pride in the service they deliver and a strong work ethic.
• A high level of emotional intelligence to deal with a diverse range of guests and anticipate their needs.
• The ability to multitask and keep your cool in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
• A valid Victorian RSA.
