About us

The Mulberry Group is a Melbourne-based hospitality group founded in 2011 by Nathan Toleman. Since then The Mulberry Group has opened venues including Hazel, Dessous, Liminal, Lilac Wine, Heide Kitchen, Square One Coffee Roasters, Molli and Lt. Molli, and our regenerative agricultural farm and charity, Common Ground Project. Across our venues, we now have a team of over 200 amazing people and counting.

About the role

As the Section waiter reporting to the Venue Manager,

you will be responsible for:

• Providing an excellent customer experience, focusing on warmth and cultivating an inviting hospitality experience
• Having a well-rounded and thorough understanding of the product, with a primary focus on wine and how it best be incorporated into the other services we provide
• Have the drive to want to further your knowledge and continue to gain better tools to provide a more rounded experience to the guests
• Working with the management team to help increase the wine knowledge of the team as a whole, and be a pillar the team can call upon when they are in need of more information

About you

We are looking for someone:

• With experience as a high-volume server capable of delivering consistent service in a fast-paced environment.
• Who is hungry to learn and continue to want to grow within a dynamic team.
• Wanting to engage with wine training/tastings and pass this information on to the rest of the team.
