We are currently recruiting for a Casual weekend retail assistant to work in our busy, best-practice Nextra newsagency in the Sunshine Plaza/Plaza Parade shopping centre. Your main focus would be on our extensive range of Jellycats and other soft toys. Its essential that you also become proficient in the sale of Lotteries products. Some of the time you will be working alone and some of the time with 1-2 employees.

You need to be available to work Thursday through to Sunday. Please indicate your availability in your cover letter.

We are seeking an energetic team-player who loves interacting with customers and is sales focused. To succeed in the role, your positive attitude and excellent communication skills will help you achieve sales and service targets.

Prior retail experience is essential.

The wage rates shown apply from juniors through to seniors. We pay the General Retail Award wage for your age and classification.
