About the Role
As a Casual Sales Assistant at Hommey, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to deliver elevated shopping experiences. You’ll provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge, ensuring every customer feels welcomed and inspired. With the flexibility to work across multiple store locations, you’ll support daily operations, maintain our high-quality visual standards, and contribute to a team that’s reshaping the homeware experience.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers with personalised assistance, offering styling advice and in-depth product knowledge
- Maintain an inviting store environment, keeping it clean, organised, and well-stocked
- Process transactions smoothly, including sales, returns, and exchanges
- Build strong customer relationships to foster repeat business and brand loyalty
- Assist with stock management, product replenishment, and handling deliveries
- Collaborate with the team to meet sales targets and elevate the Hommey experience
- Stay informed about new product launches to confidently share insights with customers
- Bring enthusiasm and a proactive attitude to a dynamic, multi-location team
About You
- Previous retail experience, ideally in homeware, lifestyle, or similar sectors
- A passion for customer service and excellent communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
- An interest in home decor and interior styling, with a knack for sharing design tips
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic stock control is a plus
- A flexible, collaborative mindset, ready to work across multiple store locations
- Enthusiasm for contributing to a positive team vibe
