We are looking for a Lotteries Assistant to assist the Lotteries Manager at a busy shopping centre outlet in Paralowie.
The position is for at least one day per week (currently Saturday 8:30am – 5:30pm) but we are looking for someone who also has the flexibility to regularly fill in when the Lotteries Manager is on sick and annual leave. Further hours may become available on a Thursday night and Sunday in the future.
The successful applicant must have prior experience with The Lott (formerly SA Lotteries).
The Lotteries Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Lotteries Manager run the day-to-day management and operation of the Lotteries outlet including the following:
· Opening and closing of store;
· Selling and upselling of the Lott products;
· Ensuring compliance with the Lott regulations and guidelines;
· Updating and managing the Lott promotional material and signage as required;
· Managing point of sale and EFTPOS facilities;
· Managing presentation of store;
· Managing sales proceeds and securing in safe;
· Any other duties as may be directed by management of the Employer from time to time.
The successful applicant will be required to:
· Be motivated and take initiative;
· Friendly and personable;
· undertake any additional mandatory training required by the Lott head office;
· pass a Police clearance;
· present for work in neat and orderly dress and appearance (including wearing the Lott affiliated attire if required).
