About the Role

We are looking for a collaborative retail assistant who will be supported to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service.

Reporting to the Retail Manager, the Retail Assistant will play a pivotal role by supporting the daily operations of our designer fashion hire store.  This is an incredible opportunity to be part of a fast-paced high-performance retail store, located in our beautifully appointed space in Subiaco.

This is a Permanent Part Time role (15 to 20 hours per week) plus occasional additional hours supporting in-store events.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Styling and assisting a diverse range of customers, effectively assessing their needs and assisting them to find the perfect outfit for life’s special events
• Supporting your store manager and assistant manager in driving success
• Working closely with your team to achieve KPIs that will be measured by both sales and customer satisfaction
• Consistently delivering excellence in customer experience at all interaction points.
• Contributing to the delivery of high visual merchandising standards as set by the Business Manager and Store Manager
• Closing and processing sales

About You

You love fashion and people, and with experience working in fashion you are ready to hit the ground running! More than this you stay current with industry trends, are passionate about delivering a luxurious and distinctive shopping experience and find absolute joy in understanding your customers’ needs and supporting their body confidence.

• Proven fashion retail experience
• Strong communication skills and listening skills
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of an integrated team
• Ability to follow practices, documents and processes
• Demonstrated sales skills
• A can-do attitude and the desire to learn
• An ability to work with a diverse clientele
• A keen eye for styling and the ability to effectively recommend garments and accessories to help your customers achieve their perfect look
