Rumba Beach Resort located in the heart of Caloundra is looking for  housekeepers to join our team no experience needed. Our modern resort offers 60 one, two and three bedroom beautifully appointed, self contained apartments.

You must be willing to work a 7 day roster including weekends,public holidays and school holidays.We can be flexible if you’re willing to work set days due to study or family commitments.We are looking for hardworking, enthusiastic and reliable applicants who work well in a team, in a fast paced environment. Attention to detail is extremely important as delivering our guests an incredible 5 star holiday is paramount.

Daily tasks include:

• Cleaning and servicing guest rooms including making beds, mopping floors, dusting and vacuuming to a superior standard
• Replenishing all amenities
• Communicating with guests to assist with any enquiries or housekeeping requests
• Reporting maintenance issues to our maintenance department
• Work as a team player passing on knowledge and skills where necessary

Requirements:

• Strong organisation and time management skills
• Initiative
• A professional, positive attitude
• An eye for detail, proactive and ability to work within a team
• A general understanding of all areas within the housekeeping department
• Flexible, reliable and able to meet challenges in a proficient manner
• Be well presented taking pride in appearance
