Rohde Egg Co. is a family-owned and operated range-producing business, and we are seeking casual staff to join our team in the following roles:

• Poultry Farm Hands – based at the Tarlee Farm collecting and grading eggs, working 7-8 hours per day across a 7-day roster.
• Poultry Catchers & Vaccinators – based at the rearing farm near Tarlee, catching and vaccinating chicks, working 6-8 hours daily in a 4-day/week block 1-2 times each month.

These roles offer regular and ongoing hours to people who:

• Are seeking regular, short-term hours, e.g. students, holidaymakers, etc.
• Have or be able to source their accommodation.
• Able to follow biosecurity, animal welfare and hygiene standards.
• Physically fit, able to lift 12kgs and safely perform manual handling tasks.
• Able to understand and follow instructions and procedures.
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Previous experience in the poultry industry, farm work, or animal care is an advantage, but it is not essential.
• Candidates must have a current unrestricted driver’s licence and a reliable mode of transport.

Due to our ‘Biosecurity Policy,’ candidates must not have contact with pigs or birds or keep them at their residences.
