mtime is the new (and frankly) better way for families to access in-home help… and we want you to be a part of extending our service to more families across Melbourne.
Read on, because you’re going to love what we have to offer.
What is the role?
We’ve created a one of a kind role – a position we call a Moncierge. Moncierges are family assistants who go into the homes of busy parents to support them with the day to day running of their home. No two days are the same as you tackle everything from cooking, cleaning, chores and childcare!
How many hours will I work?
That’s the beauty of the Moncierge role – you can work as many hours as you can on the days that suit you. We ask that you’re available to work a minimum of 15 hours a week between the hours of 7am – 7pm, Monday to Friday. You can tell us your availability within those hours and we’ll only offer you work for those times.
As a plus, whether you work part time or full time hours, your shifts will be consistent every week. That means no trying to juggle shifts around other commitments.
How many families will I work with?
Well, that depends on how many hours you want to work. On average many of our families have three hour shifts twice a week. If that’s enough for you – great! If you’re looking for more hours, we’ll match you with multiple families. We have constant demand for new Moncierges so if you want the work, we can give it to you!
How much do you pay?
You will be paid $26.49/hour superannuation. We pay you directly with consistent fortnightly payments – forget those awkward conversations about pay, we handle it all for you. Plus you earn the award rate under a casual contract even if you work part time or full time hours.
What skills do I need?
We are just as interested in the skills you have developed while managing your own household and caring for your own family as we are in your professional qualifications or experience. You will need a working with children check, a police check and a first aid certificate – but we provide all other training for the role, and cover the insurance for your position.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer so encourage applications from people from all genders and all backgrounds to apply. All who are passionate about helping families are welcome!
What else do you offer?
You’ll receive training on how to support your family and if you need to upskill in ironing, cooking or any other household tasks we will be there to connect you with the right help. You’ll also be part of a supported team dedicated to making sure you succeed and you’ll have access to career progression opportunities within the company.
