Based at our Eat Street Northshore location (Hamilton 4007), we are seeking a Kitchen Hand All Rounder to work side by side with our management team.

Job tasks and responsibilities

The Kitchen Hand All Rounder role offers a Permanent Part Time 3-4 day working week from Thursday – Sunday (at minimum). Additional hours are available.

Duties include preparation of ice cream, dough, batter, chocolate, biscuit and candy products within a small, well equipped kitchen.

We serve 1000’s of customers each week, often within concentrated peak trading trading periods. We aim to employ team members who are familiar with & whom enjoy the fast paced environment of a consistently busy gourmet food business. Candidates with experience in a fast food and/or bakery environment (whilst not essential) will be highly regarded.

We are proud to hold a 5 Star Food Safety Rating – it is therefor essential that each & every member of our team is clean, tidy & organised in the way they work and also that they are prepared to perform ‘deep cleaning’ of all food preparation & service areas on a very regular basis.

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will offer the following:

• Minimum 12 months experience within a fast paced bakery / kitchen / cafe / fast food outlet
• Basic knife skills
• Comfortable lifting 20kg
• Ability to perform an ‘all rounder’ role within our facilities

• Drivers License & Reliable Transport
