The beautiful interior of Ember just screams great food, cocktails & amazingly juicy steak with delicious wine to accompany.
We are looking for kitchen professionals that can deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment confidently & with flair!
Our current Kitchen Management team loves hospitality & are looking for like-minded chefs & cooks to join us. (Executive Chef Clement is Michelin Star trained in he comes with a wealth of knowledge & Sous Chef Nico a powerhouse on the grill & a master of consistency. Working alongside these two knowledgeable professionals will be a great experience for any chef/cook). These two hospitality guru’s are passionate about quality. We pride ourselves on all of our customer’s expectations being surpassed whilst delivering our trademark Ember style of food (have a look at our Facebook & google reviews).
Knowledge handling good quality products is a must, you need to know your trade.
Our thing is we cook in a Josper (big charcoal-fired grill) the best meats & seafood cooked on charcoal, the flavour you get from the rendering fats is hard to beat.
We are looking to fill two sections –
First is a grill chef (experience cooking on a jasper is great but not essential you can learn this very quickly if you are competent in cooking proteins)
The second is a larder & fryer section cook. Good knife skills & a smooth but fast service style would suit this position.
We are open 7 nights a week with multiple roster options available. Rates of pay are above award & based on your experience, professionalism & what value you add to the team!
Both positions are casual but open to full-time for the right person.
