About the role

As a Kitchen Hand at HPK you will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen team to prepare and deliver high-quality meals and catering services. This is a casual position based in Burleigh Waters QLD 4220.

What you’ll be doing

1. Assisting the kitchen team in food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and dicing ingredients
2. Ensuring a clean and orderly kitchen environment by carrying out general cleaning duties
3. Maintaining proper food storage and handling procedures to uphold food safety standards

What we’re looking for

1. Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or in a similar role within the Hospitality & Tourism industry but not must
2. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
3. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
4. Good communication skills and a positive, customer-service oriented attitude
5. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
