Flinders Backpackers is searching for a charismatic human with a “can-do” attitude to join our crew.

Flinders is one of Melbourne’s largest, most award winning backpacker hostels. We host guests from all over the world – from short stays to long term trips. Flinders is known for being a sociable and central hub for exploring Melbourne and connecting with like-minded people.

About the Role:

Our front desk crew is the heart of our operations – they’re friendly and will get stuck into everything. From check-ins to chats, to being responsible for maintaining a clean, fun and comfortable environment for all of our backpackers, our reception team are true all-rounders.

Working at Flinders is a unique position where you will meet people from all walks of life. You will be able to flex your social butterfly muscles and showcase your love for Melbourne.

About you:

• Thrives in a social, high-energy environment
• Previous experience in customer service-based roles
• A positive, will-try-anything attitude
• Confident, multi-tasker, resourceful and loves a challenge
• Have working rights in Australia
• Ability to work 20 – 30 hours a week
• Work on a rotating roster, including overnight shifts
