Receptionist
The Adelaide Inn Hotel is seeking a part time guest services colleague to join an energetic and customer focused team to work i the day-to-day operations of a 60 room city edge hotel/motel.
About the Role:
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Taking reservations using our reservation system and update reservations booked online
- Checking in and out guest in a timely manner daily, authorising payments and preparing guest bills
- Be able to answer all enquires in regards to rates and availability
- Answer the phone in an efficient and timely manner to address any enquires
- Communicate to other hotel departments in regards to request or requirements
- Monitor and respond to emails professionally
- Be able to solve all complaints in a time manner for a positive outcome for the guest
- Responsible for a cash float and end of shift banking (Cash & Eftpos)
- Run daily reports within the shift
- Handover to staff or security clearly on shift change
- Perform any additional task as per the Receptions daily check list
- Assistance may be required within other departments of the hotel such as Housekeeping or Fox Restaurant
About you:
- Energetic and likes to work in a culturally positive environment
- Has experienced in hotels in reception, duty manager or similar
- Fluent in RMS
- Can work across a seven day roster the reception is open 8am to 8pm
