Guest Services Agent

Join our dynamic team at The George, Glenelg, the newest hotel in Glenelg, opened in March 2025! With 60 accommodation rooms, we are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Guest Services Agent to be part of our professional front office team. This is an exciting opportunity for a career-driven individual to contribute to a fast-growing property.

Managed by leading hospitality management company, 1834 Hotels, the successful candidate will be a dedicated, hard-working, and hands-on hospitality professional. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role is integral to the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring a high level of customer service and precise front office procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all customer inquiries professionally, demonstrating high standards of customer service.
• Create meaningful connections with guests, enhancing their experience of our hospitality and the region they are visiting.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised work area.
• Maintaining accurate guest accounts, reservations and confidential information.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience and affinity for working in the hospitality sector.
• A can-do, responsible, and flexible approach to work.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Prior experience in delivering outstanding experiences in a hotel environment.
• A great sense of style and immaculate presentation and grooming.
• Initiative, commitment, and passion for your job.
• A strong appreciation and adherence to workplace safety.
• Previous experience using RMS (PMS) and associated hotel software is desirable.
