The Opportunity 

Due to our growth in the market, Enviro Sweep is offering multiple opportunities for reliable people in the position of Labourer to assist with its operational requirements in and around Adelaide’s metropolitan suburbs.

Previous labourer experience is welcome and there is training support for the role’s duties and responsibilities as they apply to a sweeper vehicle environment.

The successful candidates will work out of the Salisbury Plain depot and report to the Operations Team.

About the Role

The responsibilities include:

• Assisting the Road and Site sweeping team by operating the backpack blower by ensuring leaf material is blown from required areas;
• Assisting with the removal of objects such as sticks etc from the path of the Street Sweeper;
• Assisting with cleaning of Side Entry Pits using Street Sweeper
• Daily maintenance of backpack blower ensuring machine is clean and functioning as required;
• Ensuring at all times all duties are executed safely and in accordance with the companies Workplace Health and Safety policies; and
• Any other general labouring duties as required.

To be successful in this role, you must:

• Be willing to work varied and flexible hours including weekend work is essential (special rates)
• Hold a current driver’s licence (essential)
• Possess a strong work ethic, with a keen sense of urgency
• Ability to follow maps and complete daily dockets
• Work as part of a team to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
• Have a willingness to work outdoors in all conditions
• Have a good level of fitness

• Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screen.
