We’re a busy, community-focused fruit and vegetable shop known for our fresh produce, Groceries, friendly service, and ready-to-eat healthy options. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Food Preparation & Kitchen Hand to join our team and help us prepare produce-based items.

About the Role

As a Food Preparation & Kitchen Hand, you’ll work in a small, fast-paced team to ensure our products are prepared to the highest standard of freshness, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash, peel, chop, and prepare fresh fruits and vegetables for daily production
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the food preparation area
• Follow food safety and handling procedures at all times
• Assist with stock rotation, labeling, and waste reduction
• Support general shop duties as needed (e.g., restocking displays, cleaning, customer assistance)

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and follow directions
• Hygienic and safety-conscious in food handling
• A team player with a positive attitude
• Experienced in food preparation essential — training also provided
