About us: Tuga Pastries is a young bakery with a world of experience, born in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. We have built up a reputation Sydney-wide by providing high quality goods to customers on both a wholesale and retail level. Due to rapid growth we are seeking capable drivers working night shifts commencing from 11pm and operating out of our Alexandria location. Shift duration is usually 7-8 hours daily. A combination of roles available across Monday to Sunday.

Duties of the role include but are not limited to:

· Manual handling (loading/unloading the van with stock).

· The safe and efficient delivery of baked goods to our wholesale customers.

· Light vehicle maintenance (cleaning/washing, refuelling etc.).

· Liaising with the kitchen staff when required

· Customer service in certain circumstances

· Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations

· Keep delivery vehicle clean and well-maintained

• A company van with an automatic transmission will be provided for the carrying out of deliveries/work duties.
• Training and other assistance will also be provided to help familiarise you with the delivery run and our customers.

The successful candidate will meet the following essential criteria:

· A valid, full driver’s licence.

· A good driving record.

– Multi-drop delivery experience

· At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Other desired qualities include:

· Good interpersonal skills.

· The ability to work well solo and as a part of a team.

· A demonstrated ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines.
