An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join the Guest Services team as a Casual Customer Service Attendant!

Customer Service Attendants must be responsive and helpful to the customer’s needs, to not only meet their expectations but to exceed them. Customer Service Attendants need to be organised and have great communication and interpersonal skills.

Customer Service Attendants within the Guest Experience Team are required to operate a range of digital cameras to produce high quality images for guests. This position requires awareness of different software programs to process and print photos.

A successful candidate will have excellent organisational, oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, combined with an eye for detail. They have a passion for conservation, and an identified passion for providing great customer service.

Duties Include: 

• Welcome and greet customers, assisting patrons with enquiries.
• Point-of-sale processing including register operation, receiving and processing cash or credit payments.
• Accurately give change and receipts.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
• Keep the area tidy and clean, this includes vacuuming, mopping, cleaning windows etc.
• Being able to deal with customer complaints.
• Assist with Crowd control and customer movements during daily shows and Event days.
• Working within procedures and KPI’s.
• Maintain Australia Zoos customer service standards.
• Facilitating guest encounters and providing photography services and information services to guests.
• Safely operate buggies throughout the Zoo Grounds.

Essential Criteria: 

• Available to work weekends, public holidays, and school holiday periods.
• Experience in a similar role and long term commitment to Australia Zoo.
