Join Our Front of House Team – Cannings

Cannings Free Range Butchers is looking for counterhands to join our growing team across Melbourne. With seven stores (Kew, Hawthorn, Malvern, Ivanhoe, South Yarra, Tooronga, and Richmond), we’re proud to provide products that are both high quality and high welfare, backed by our commitment to:

The counterhand position is casual with opportunities for regular weekly hours on a varied roster, including mid-afternoon to evening shifts. There may be potential to convert to permanent employment in the future.

We’re seeking people with customer service experience in retail or hospitality who are motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic about food. At Cannings, we pride ourselves on maintaining a positive and supportive team culture.

Duties include:

• Providing attentive and professional customer service

• Maintaining product displays (making sure everything looks delicious at all times!)

• Collaborating with your colleagues and our team of butchers

• Light food preparation
