Job Description:

To help shape our purpose, we are seeking a team mate that will contribute and embrace a positive team environment, as well as having a great sense of humour while celebrating different personalities in the workplace.

As the counter assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, handling inquiries, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers as they approach the counter and assist them with their inquiries or bookings.
2. Take customer bookings accurately and efficiently.
3. Process transactions using a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit, and debit payments.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, including wiping down surfaces, restocking supplies, and other light cleaning.
5. Monitor drinks and snack levels and notify management when stock is low or additional supplies are needed.
6. Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner, escalating issues to management when necessary.
7. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely service during peak hours.
8. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including dress code, attendance, and punctuality requirements.

Required Hours:

• Weekday shifts including Saturday and Sunday shifts.
• Extra hours available in peak periods being School holidays.
