Cooks & Kitchen Hands – Casual Ad Hoc Shifts

Our client provides safe accommodation, essential services, and life-changing support to help people move out of homelessness. By joining the team, you’ll be part of something meaningful – and help deliver fresh, nutritious meals to those who need it most.

We have morning and afternoon shifts available Monday–Sunday, all on an ad hoc / on-call basis.

✨ About the Role

You’ll be supporting daily kitchen operations, including:

• Food prep, planning, and meal support
• Washing/drying cooking utensils
• Stock rotation & basic inventory tasks
• Keeping the kitchen clean, safe, and hygienic
• Following food-safety and allergen-safety procedures
• Maintaining a high attention to detail

🙌 About You

We’re looking for people who have:

• Availability for ad hoc shifts (sometimes 24 hours, sometimes 1 hour notice)
• Strong commitment to safe food handling and allergen awareness
• A friendly, positive attitude
• Clear communication skills
• A recent Police Check (or ability to get one)
• MUST have a Food Safety Certificate
