We’re on the hunt for a passionate and dedicated Cleaning Assistant to join our vibrant team across our Ashmore and Merrimac homes. About the role

As a Cleaning Assistant, you’ll be the magic behind keeping our homes sparkling and our residents comfortable. From cleaning resident rooms to common areas, your role is crucial in ensuring HillView Care is a place of warmth, care, and hygiene. Every task you do will directly contribute to creating a safe, welcoming environment for our residents.

What you’ll do

• Clean and tidy resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and more
• Ensure all cleaning meets HillView Care’s high standards
• Follow infection control procedures, such as using prescribed and appropriate cleaning agents and personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of infections
• Play a key part in creating a warm and welcoming space for our residents to call home

What we’re looking for

• Experience in a similar role (but we’re happy to train the right person!)
• Flexibility to work across both Ashmore and Merrimac locations
• Strong communication skills – Friendly and effective
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• A team player who’s adaptable to change
• Australian Residency or Citizenship (required)
• Willingness to obtain a police clearance certificate
