Hays Specialist Recruitment is seeking applications from flexible and experienced Cleaners with a Truck Licence to join a professional and hard-working night shift team with the City of Gold Coast Council. These roles are based on various depots and work on a rotating roster, including weekends. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside Australia’s second-largest Local Government and one of our city’s largest Organisations.

Your new role

You will be working within the City Cleaning team responsible for keeping the streets and public spaces clean for our residents and visitors to the Gold Coast. Your duties will include but not be limited to;

• Cleaning public facilities, including amenities
• BBQ cleaning
• Litter collection
• Driving MR trucks, water trucks and compactors

What you will need to succeed

Ideally, you will have experience in a similar environment and respect for safety and cleanliness standards. You will be a team player and willing to get stuck in. The mandatory requirements for this role are listed below:

• Medium Rigid licence or higher
• Construction White Card
• Able to work weekends
• Two recent references
