Australia’s largest swim school organisation is currently recruiting. With ten swimming schools in Western Australia and more than 500 employees, State Swim is the market leader in teaching children to swim and pride ourselves on our aquatic facilities. Currently we are seeking a reliable cleaner for immediate start in this casual position at State Swim Kewdale and State Swim Secret Harbour.

• Availability Requirements: Monday – Friday: 7:00-10:00am & 12:00-3:00pm, Weekends: 12:00-3:00pm
• Hands on approach
• Must have eye for detail
• Police Clearance required
• General cleaning
• Be physically fit
• Approximately 10 hours weekly

Work will involve:

• General cleaning of the centre, around the pool,  bathrooms, and shower areas
• Vacuuming of carpeted areas (staff room, reception, office)
• Pool Tests
• Maintenance of the plant room, cupboards and storeroom (keep neat, tidy and clean)
• Stock ordering (cleaning and chemicals)
• Scum line scrubbing – getting into the pool and scrubbing the scum line
• Pool edge scrubbing – standing on side and scrubbing pool sides with a long stick brush
• Floor scrubbing (chlorine) on the Saturday
• General maintenance outside the building – picking up rubbish
• Would be advantageous if they are hands on and can do the odd handyman fixing around the centre when required
