Hays Specialist Recruitment is currently seeking applications for Christmas Cleaners (experience highly desired, however, not essential) to work within the City of Gold Coast Council’s City Maintenance division. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside Australia’s second-largest Local Government and one of our city’s largest Organisations.

Your new role

Based on a dedicated and hardworking team, your role and duties will require due diligence, hard work, and adherence to safety, coupled with your ability to work well within a team environment. You will be responsible for ensuring Gold Coast parks, gardens and beachfronts are beautifully maintained throughout the busy period. Main tasks will include BBQ/public amenities cleaning and litter collection.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following minimum criteria:

• Ability to work on a rotating roster between the hours of 5am – 10pm (Monday – Sunday)
• White construction card
• C Class driver Licence (MR highly desired)
• Provide 2 x references
