We are seeking a junior Catering assistant for a casual role at our Brisbane site (school in Toowong, Brisbane.

Flexible working arrangements/rosters Above award for Jonier staff member

Specific duties will include:

• Receiving and storing deliveries in appropriate storage areas
• Clean and manage the clearing of kitchen equipment, plates and utensils
• Performing general cleaning tasks such as sweeping floor and garbage disposal
• Assisting with record keeping, ordering and food preparation management
• Operate a cash register
• Assist with the set up and pack down for events
• Maintaining good presentation

The ideal candidate will have some experience as a Catering assistant or worked in a warehouse environment. Be comfortable working efficiently. You should be physically capable and have an understanding of safety.

To excel in this role, you should be punctual, reliable, and well-organized. You should have a positive attitude and good personal hygiene.

Requirements: 

• Working with Children Blue Card (or ability to acquire one)
