About the Role

We are seeking dedicated casual and part time Catering Assistants/ Food Services Assistants to join our hospitality team. In this vital role, you will assist with meal preparation, plating, and serving; maintain kitchen cleanliness; and help ensure the wellbeing of our residents through safe and high-quality food service.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve meals in accordance with individual resident needs and preferences
• Maintain kitchen and dining area hygiene as per our Food Safety Plan
• Clean and store dishes, cutlery, and kitchen equipment
• Accurately complete food safety records and follow infection control procedures
• Support the Chef and Catering Manager as required
• Promote respectful and compassionate interactions with residents

About You

✅ Previous experience in an aged care, hospital, or commercial kitchen (desirable)
✅ Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, WHS, and kitchen operations
✅ Effective teamwork and communication skills
✅ Ability to prioritise tasks and follow procedures
✅ Comfortable using basic kitchen equipment (e.g. dishwashers, food processors)
✅ Respectful, reliable, and committed to caring for the elderly
✅ Current Police Clearance willingness to obtain

✅ Valid working rights in Australia

 Qualifications (desirable):

• Cert II or III in Hospitality or Kitchen Operations
• Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate
