THE ROLE:         

Due to ongoing business growth, we have an opportunity for a Casual Parcel/Pallet Driver to join our team at Cairns.

Our ideal candidate will be a confident team player, who are not afraid to roll their sleeves up and assist across depot operations. Your day will consist of loading and unloading freight from overnight Linehaul and undertaking deliveries across our customer network. Manual handling of freight is required.

ABOUT YOU:

The successful candidate must have a current drivers licence. Critical to your success in this role is your demonstrated safe on road behaviour, absolute professionalism and taking pride in the presentation of the vehicle

The successful candidates will also:

• Have a good knowledge of the Cairns area,
• Forklift licence,
• MR Licence is advantageous,
• HR Licence is advantageous,
• Be a dynamic person, a self-starter who enjoys fast-paced work,
• Enjoy an even mix of teamwork and independent activity,
• Have a passion for customer service,
• Take pride in their own appearance and the business they represent,
• Willing to provide a 2 year driving history,
• Able to work varied start times,
• Be physically fit as heavy lifting may be required.
