What you’ll be doing

• Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining the bottle shop’s stock levels and ensuring displays are well-organised and appealing
• Adhering to all liquor licensing laws and regulations
• Providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Receiving deliveries

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably in a bottle shop or similar environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately
• A flexible and adaptable approach to working a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• A passion for providing outstanding customer service and a genuine interest in the retail industry
• A current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate
• Someone who can work independently
• Strong wine knowledge
• Physically fit as some heavy lifting is required
