Aviv Cakes is a busy bakery in Elsternwick. We make a wide range of baked goods with a focus on Continental cakes and pastries. We are open 7 days a week and bake on-site.

The Role…

• Casual position, immediate start
• Training and development
• Your job will be to aid pastry chefs in cake production preparation, dishwashing and cleaning.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Cleaning and sanitising dishes, utensils, benches, floors and other kitchen areas.
• Assisting the cooks in the preparation and cooking of food as required
• Perform general back-of-house duties, including re-stocking, organising, packing away orders, etc.
• Maintaining full adherence to Food Safety and WHS requirements

What we’re looking for…

• Working Rights in Australia
• Ability to work full-time across a 5 day rotating roster, including occasional weekends
• Ability to work in a busy and fast-paced environment
• Experience in a similar role preferred
