Job Summary

As a Barista at Miss Claude’s Crepes, you’ll craft high-quality coffee beverages, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to the warm, welcoming atmosphere of our café. You’ll work alongside our team to ensure every cup and interaction reflects our commitment to quality and community.

Key Responsibilities

•  Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, and specialty drinks, to meet our high standards.

•  Engage with customers, taking orders, answering questions, and offering recommendations with a friendly and professional demeanor.

•  Maintain a clean and organized coffee station and customer area, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.

•  Assist with basic food prep, such as preparing crepe accompaniments, when needed.

•  Monitor front of house supplies, ensuring equipment is clean and well-maintained.

•  Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

•  Contribute to a positive and inclusive café environment.

Qualifications

•  Proven experience as a barista with strong coffee-making skills (latte art a plus!).

•  Knowledge of coffee beans, brewing techniques, and equipment maintenance.

•  Excellent customer service and communication skills.

•  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

•  Food Handler’s Certificate and RSA Certificate or willingness to obtain one.

•  Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
