We are a busy cafe in Coolum looking for someone to train as a pastry chef. Some experience as a kitchen hand, chef or cook is essential. We are a small team and we swap between jobs regularly so we are looking for someone who can be versatile and is enthusiastic to work in a team environment helping each other out.

What will be expected of you:

Attention to detail in stock rotation and weighing of ingredients.

An eye for the presentation of plates and cakes.

Producing cakes and sweet items.

Running service and cooking breakfast.

Prepping brunch items.

Cleaning the kitchen; including dishes.

Putting away stock.

Opening hours are 6am – 12pm , Wednesday to Sunday

Shifts hours are 5am – 1230pm, Tuesday to Saturday (some Sunday required)

Sorry no working holiday neither students will be considerate.

Need a working permit with no conditions.
