We are currently looking for a talented prep cook to join our team part-time in the kitchen. Byron Corner Store offers fresh breakfast and lunch takeaway meals, mainly consisting of toasted sandwiches, breakfast burritos, salads/bowls and baked goods.

We need someone who can:

Learn & master our recipes

Help develop new recipes and menu items

Work autonomously, as well as in a team

Multi-task

Work quickly / efficiently, while also keeping their kitchen clean

Help order, receive and rotate stock

The position is currently part-time, probably Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays.

We offer a fun and friendly team environment, where staff are respected. No evening hours – the general shift is 6am-2pm. You won’t have “dockets” to deal with, just your prep items. We pay industry award rates.
