ROOM/HOUSEKEEPINGATTENDANT WANTED Casual/Part-Time

The CairnsCity Palms is a 2 level 4 Star Motel located at 199 Sheridan Street CairnsNorth.

We are looking for a new reliable honest and hardworking Room/Housekeeping attendant for the long term to join our friendly team, experience is preferred but not essential as we can train you.

Flexible rotating hours with some weekends and public holidays required or all weekends if you so desire. Penalty rates apply for public holidays and weekends.

Your Role will include:

• Trying to exceed guest service standards
• Preparing and cleaning rooms, vacuuming, use of some chemicals for various cleaning tasks, making beds, replenishing amenities
• Greet our guests with a nice smile and friendly manner and assist them when asked
• Writedown and reported to the cleaning supervisor any maintenance issues that require fixing in the rooms
• Replenishing amenities and maintaining room equipment

Starting on casual with movement to Part-Time job security for the right person.

Starting on award wages with opportunities to gain well above award wage as time goes on if you can constantly display excellent work ethics and consistent quality of work.
