We are looking for a Customer Service/Accounts Assistant!

Located in South-east Brisbane, we are a public accounting firm that provides services to all tax and accounting matters at a friendly price! The organization consists of advisory, tax and business accountant teams who together make it the perfect option in terms of expertise and dynamic thinking.

The individual we are looking for needs to be someone who is/has;

• Fluent in English
• Great communications skills
• Knowledge of Office Applications
• Excellent phone manners
• Ability to work autonomously
• Organised with the ability to multitask and priorities
• Accounting Background ( (preferred but not essential)

Suitable applicants will have a minimum of 6 months of customer service experience in Australia. They’ll be able to develop and maintain relationships with clients in a consultative manner.

A background in Accounting and Finance is required with either certificate or diploma to show for.

Duties and responsibilities;

• Day to day client communications
• Setting up appointments
• Responding to email queries
• Passing on vital information to other staff members
• General administrative work

Successful candidates will have business acumen with a willingness to progress their skills, knowledge and career. They will have strong time management skills and be able to work well in a team. We are also hoping that they have a view to establishing a long-term career with Austral Accountants.
