Hourly rate starting from $35 p/hour plus travel or sub-contractor rate to be negotiated

About Giggle Events

We proudly support families and commercial customers to create special and memorable events for children by delivering stress-free sets up of soft play and water play sets. After another successful year servicing Brisbane and Gold Coast areas, Giggle Events is expanding to meet demand in the Sunshine Coast and Northern Rivers.

About the role

As the delivery set/pack-up employee, you will be responsible for towing a trailer, loading and unloading hire items, setting up party hire sets, and packing up before returning to storage. The majority of shifts are split shifts with – three hours break in between setup and pack-up times. Couples/teams will be considered on a sub-contractor basis.

Some of your key responsibilities will include

• Towing a trailer
• Loading and unloading the hire equipment into the trailer
• Following a map to varied locations
• Following a procedure to set up hiring set
• Greeting customers
• Cleaning hire equipment

What you’ll need to succeed

• Customer service experience
• Initiative and problem-solving skills
• Physically fit and able
• Roadworthy van, ute, or wagon and a full driver’s license
• The ability to tow a trailer
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Current blue card or ability to apply
